Find an elevator which goes deeper down into the core.

Alright, so you've made it to this part of the Core. Your next objective is to find an elevator that'll take you even deeper. Don't worry, it's not too complicated, but there are a few things to watch out for.

Head through the next couple of doors, and you'll find yourself in a pretty big, circular room. Right in the middle of this room is a teleporter. Now, this teleporter is indestructible, so don't waste your ammo trying to blow it up. It's going to keep spitting out up to eight Tactical Transfers, so your best bet is to get up close and personal with it. Just blast 'em as they pop out. The Hyperblaster is a good choice here; you'll actually get a decent amount of ammo back for it as you kill them.

Once you've cleared out the immediate threats, make your way to the opposite side of the room. You'll find a lift there. Go ahead and call it. When it arrives, hop on and ride it up to the upper level. Once you're up there, just circle around the room. You'll need to take out another four Tactical Transfers that show up. After that, just run through the next hallway.

This will lead you to another room, and yep, you guessed it – another lift. This is the one you want. Board it, and let it take you all the way down, deeper into the Core. This is where the real action is about to heat up.

When you finally arrive at your destination, you'll probably notice the Makron's face staring at you from a monitor. Don't worry, it's just a monitor for now. But before you can even think about getting out of this lift, you're going to get scanned. The Strogg will realize you're definitely not one of them. It's a bit strange they've been shooting at you this whole time if they weren't sure, right? Anyway, the point is, you're trapped here for now. You'll need to find a way into the security tower to shut down the alarm before you can proceed further into the Core.
