Walkthrough
- 1Voss awards you the GRENADE LAUNCHER.
- 2Pick up CLIPS and GRENADES from nearby crates.
- 3Follow your squad through the trenches, engaging Strogg Marines and Gunners. Use cover (press the cover button to crouch behind walls or objects) when necessary.
- 4You will reach a locked door. Voss orders you to find a way to open it.
- 5Climb on stacked crates to the right of the locked door, then jump onto the door frame and higher ground.
- 6A Grunt will emerge from a hole; defeat it with the Shotgun.
- 7Drop into the hole, grab the SMALL HEALTH PACK if needed, and enter the small hallway.
- 8Find the door with a green panel beside it and unlock it by interacting with the panel.
- 9Return to your squad. Morris stays behind.
- 10After Voss and Sledge enter, a Strogg Marine drops from the ceiling, followed by two more from a door.
- 11Go through this door into a large room with multiple doors. Engage approximately ten Strogg Marines.
- 12Enter the next room and defeat the lone Strogg Marine.
- 13Focus on the right side where Strogg Marines and a Gunner will emerge from four doors. Stay on the far side and use your Machinegun to defeat them.
- 14Jump down and exit through the accessible door into another hallway.
- 15Follow the hallway and turn right to find the Air Defense Cannon controls.
- 16Defeat the two Strogg Marines and the Gunner protecting the controls.
- 17Run to the controls to claim the cannon.
- 18Use the commandeered cannon to make your own path to the Hannibal's landing.
Tips
- The Grenade Launcher has a powerful blast radius but can be difficult to use effectively due to grenade trajectory and potential self-damage, especially in confined spaces. It is useful for clearing rooms from above.
- Your teammates are invincible during the initial trench sequence.
- Voss is armed with a powerful Hyperblaster.
