Grab any extra CLIP or SMALL HEALTH PACK you might need, then head back to that large room.

Now, you need to do some sweeping. Run around this large room and take out two Gunners and about seven Strogg Marines. Your life is more expendable than Rhodes's right now, so keep a close eye on him. He sometimes has a bad habit of wandering off. After you've cleared the room, look for a door on the opposite side from the first hangar you entered – that's to your left from where you came in. This next hangar looks similar, but it's got a Gunner plus three Strogg Marines. Clear them all out, and Rhodes will plant the second and final charge. Sweet! You no longer have to babysit him!

Since he's a Rhino Squad member, you know he can handle himself. Follow Rhodes back into the big room, then into another one. He'll unlock the door leading into a control room.
