Hey there! Ready to tackle another side mission in Pokémon Legends: Z-A? This one, called "Starmie on High," is pretty straightforward but requires you to be in the right place at the right time. Don't worry, I'll walk you through it!

Where to Start:

This quest pops up once you've started Main Mission 35, and here's a crucial detail: it's only available during the day. So, keep an eye out for that! You'll want to head east from Wild Zone 7. Follow the north side of the canal, and you'll spot a woman waiting for you. She's your quest giver!

The Objective: Catch a Starmie

The woman will ask you to return later, specifically at night, with a Starmie in your party. If it's daytime, you can either wait it out or use a park bench to advance the time to night. Your main goal is to get your hands on a Starmie.

Finding a Starmie:

Your best bet for catching a Starmie is in Wild Zone 16, near the fountain, but only when it's nighttime. Be warned, though – Starmie can be a bit rare here. You're more likely to encounter Barbaracle. So, if you're having trouble finding one, don't get discouraged!

Alternative: Evolve a Staryu

No luck with Starmie? No problem! You can catch a Staryu in Wild Zone 2, also at night. Once you have your Staryu, you can use a Water Stone to evolve it into Starmie. You can snag Water Stones from the Stone Emporium in town.

Once you've successfully completed the task, you'll be rewarded with some nice goodies: 2,800 money, a rare Eviolite, and a Big Pearl. Not too shabby!

What Happens Afterwards?

After you've handed over your Starmie, there's a little something extra to discover. Head back to Wild Zone 16, near the fountain where Starmie sometimes spawns at night. You'll find a glowing object there. Go check it out – it turns out to be a Moon Stone! Kind of suspicious, right? Keep that in mind!
