    Defeat Silcoon (LV25 BUG).

    Visit the Pokémon Center in Phenac City. Note that this is the only town with a basement Pokémon Center, but it cannot be used until later in the game. Heal your Pokémon and save your game at the PC.

    Go upstairs from the Pokémon Center to the Pre Gym.

    Enter the Pre Gym, go left, and up the stairs.

    Talk to the teacher by the whiteboard to receive the "Strategy Memo" upgrade for your P*DA. The P*DA (Pokémon Digital Assistant) upgrade allows you to see data on all Pokémon you've encountered, similar to a Pokédex.

    Go to the far right side of the Pre Gym and talk to Justy.

    This will initiate a series of 4 battles.
