    Head down the left hallway of the trap room to find a corpse and open a door that leads back to an earlier shrine.

    Return and enter the next room, which contains mist and a Ninja Yokai. Kill the Ninja Yokai.

    Take the left path, which leads to a dead-end with false walls, a Ninja, and a chest. Find a corpse behind one of the false walls in the hallway before the area opens up. Ignore the wall doors in this area.

    Head back and take the right path. Break a false door and enter the next room through a wall door. Enter the subsequent room through another wall door.

    Kill the Ninja in this room.

Boss Encounter: Giant Toad

The Giant Toad is a challenging but fair boss, combining physical attacks with ninja tools. He utilizes a spear for powerful thrusts and combos. Watch out for his "Exploding Kunai" attack, which requires continuous guarding to avoid the explosion. Manage your Ki (stamina) and consider using "Sacred Water" items. Avoid his high-damage spear attacks, stay healed, and use Ninjutsu, Onmyo, or Talismans. Deploy your Living Weapon when his health is in the last quarter.

Boss Moves:

  • Spear Thrust / Spear Combos: The most dangerous moves, hitting very hard. Spear Thrust is a forward thrust easily dodged. Spear Combos involve two wide, sweeping low swings followed by a thrust. Try to get behind him during swings or block. Deal damage after combos, but be aware of his "Spear Drop" attack if you stay too close.
