Learn how to counter Onryoki's 'Second Form' attacks in Nioh 3, including Claw Swipes, Ball Throw, Belly Flop, Leaping Smash, and Grab Attack. Master these strategies to emerge victorious.

Onryoki's Attacks and Counters:

1. Claw Swipes: Onryoki performs two quick swipes when you get close. Dash under his arm or back away to avoid and counter.
2. Ball Throw: Onryoki picks up and throws a giant iron ball. Lock on and dash left or right to dodge, then counter attack.
3. Belly Flop: Onryoki performs two claw swipes followed by a leaping belly flop. Be ready to dash out of the way, then dash in to punish him.
4. Leaping Smash: Onryoki jumps forward to smash you. Dodge backwards or to the side to avoid and counter, or to get rid of defiled mist.
5. Grab Attack: A close-up melee move where Onryoki attempts to grab you. Dodge away or to the side quickly. If grabbed, he bites and throws you.

Post-Boss Unlocks and Progression:

• The mission "Basic Action Controls" is added to the Dojo.
• The mission "Applied Action Controls" is added to the Dojo.
• The mission "The Way of the Ninja: Novice" is added to the Dojo.
• The twilight mission "The Blessed Village" is unlocked.

World Map and Next Steps:

• After defeating the boss and exiting the mission, you will be at the world map.
• Use the "Starting Point" to access the Shrine, Blacksmith, Dojo, and Torii Gate.
• It is recommended to do the training missions for rewards and check the Blacksmith for items.
• Make a habit of buying ammo from the Blacksmith.
• Select the next Main Mission, "Deep in the Shadows," to proceed.

Mission: Deep in the Shadows

Prologue: May 1600, Nakatsu Buzen Province. The mission takes place in a complex warren of limestone caves.

Objective: Search for the missing Kuroda Nagamasa in the caves.
