Part 8

After climbing out of the hole, eliminate enemies. Look left of the exit for Cog Tag (CT5) before heading outside.

Follow the path north towards bodies; a cutscene will play, marking the end of the second chapter.

Insane Note: On Insane, Locusts can instantly kill Marcus. Never let them get close.

When the first Emergence Hole appears, you can throw a grenade at it by running up, throwing, and immediately taking cover.

You'll face a Troika (manned machine gun). Flank it by heading to the right passageway, which has a small passage allowing you to get behind it. Shoot the Troika operator with your Lancer. Eliminate any other enemies.

Heading north, you'll encounter more enemies. You can either lead them back to the Troika or flank them. To flank, find a small passage on the right, go to its end (a courtyard), and circle around behind the enemies.

After clearing the enemies, return to the courtyard with the large statue in the middle. Take cover next to it. Pick up any available grenades.

Four Locust holes will appear. They generally appear in a random order, except for the fourth one. The holes are located:

Directly left of the left-most passage (facing away from where you entered).

Between the two passages.

To the right of the right-most passage.

North-east, facing the exit direction.

Plug the Emergence Holes with grenades to make the fight easier. For the first three, stay near the statue. For the fourth, it's easier to hide behind scattered wall debris.

Find Cog Tag (CT6) northwest of the circle area, near some grenades.

Head towards the exit. Dialogue will play.

Insane Note: The Troika part is manageable by flanking. The courtyard battle may require multiple retries. After sealing the first two holes, hide behind the wall between the two roads to make killing enemies from the other Emergence holes easier.

Fork In The Road: You must split up. The left path is recommended as easier. Both paths converge in the same room.

Follow the left path to a doorway. Take cover to the left or right. Enemies may charge; chainsaw them if they do, otherwise shoot from cover.

The next room might be empty if enemies charged. If not, hide behind a couch and shoot.

Before proceeding, shoot through the boarded window to kill the Locust manning the Troika on the right path.

Follow through the bathroom and press the button on the wall to proceed to the meeting room.

When facing the Troika again, flank it.

Roadie run ahead of the door, pick up ammo if needed, and go through the door to your left.

Head north through the next door and take cover behind a large propane tank. Recharge health, then move north towards another door.

Kick open the door and run upstairs. If the enemy doesn't notice you, chainsaw him. Kill the Locust manning the Troika from the window (be cautious as he may dismount).
