Walkthrough
- 1You are in a Junker with a UV Turret. Press X to switch between driving and firing the turret.
- 2As you round the first corner, Kryll will appear from a clocktower. Kill them.
- 3Hop over a broken section and go around rubble. More Kryll will burst from a building on your right; kill them.
- 4More Kryll will appear on the right; kill them. Some may attack from behind if you linger.
- 5You will reach a section where you must smash through rubble.
- 6You can go around rubble to the right, followed by a jump off a small broken section.
- 7A building directly ahead will be swarming with Kryll. Kill them all.
- 8More Kryll will come from behind. If you've cleared the front, turn around when the attendant says "SIX O' CLOCK!" and kill the first moving target.
- 9Head down the off-ramp to the right.
- 10Make a left and follow the small road forward until you can't anymore.
- 11Make a right. You will reach an underpass. More Kryll will burst from a building ahead and to the left; fire and take them all out.
- 12Make a right, another right, and another right to get back on the highway.
- 13On this second highway, it is recommended to run directly to the end. Smash through rubble and hit jumps.
- 14The chapter ends with a cutscene.
- 15Last Stand (A29): Move towards the battle. A doorway on your left has regenerating ammo boxes and a Longshot. Pick up the Longshot.
- 16Use the Longshot to snipe distant Locusts. Avoid using the Lancer or the turret at the end of the walkway as they are less effective.
- 17At the end of the walkway, behind a broken wall, are a Longshot and grenades.
- 18Shoot out of the windows in the room with the burning toilet to deal with the first enemies and an Emergence Hole.
- 19Head outside. Two Locusts are on the roof directly ahead; zoom in with the Longshot to spot them.
- 20Use the Y button to locate the next Emergence Hole and snipe from behind low walls.
- 21If you run out of Longshot ammo, pick up more from the regenerating boxes inside the building or at the end of the walkway.
- 22Slightly left of the emergence hole, in a wall hole, is a sniper. You can shoot the roof to make it cave in or snipe him.
- 23When enemies come from buildings on the far right, hide behind a low wall or the broken wall and snipe them.
- 24At the second checkpoint, a Boomer appears. Headshot it and kill its minions.
- 25When Boomers appear behind you, look for a giant rolling barrel. Shoot the propane tank beneath it to cause an explosion that crushes the Boomers.
- 26Belly of the Beast Overview (A31): Kryll are no longer a threat, but you will now face Lambent Wretches.
- 27Learn the optimal shotgun distance to avoid their explosion. The magnum is useful for long-range Wretches.
- 28You will go underground into Locust mines and face many Lambent Wretches.
- 29At the end of the chapter, you will encounter Theron Guards, which are upgraded Drones.
- 30Theron Guards are more armored and take more shots to kill (2 Longshot bullets on Casual/Hardcore, 3 on Insane).
- 31Theron Guards carry Torque Bows and have accurate aim. Getting hit by one on Insane is often fatal.
- 32If you see two vertical glowing orange lights or hear a charging sound, take cover immediately.
