    You begin with Tifa and Aerith. Interact with Aerith first.

    Prepare for a boss fight against Abzu, who is weak against Fire.

Tips
  • Abzu's early attacks can be countered with Cloud's Punisher Mode Parry.
  • Have Aerith use Arcane Ward and Fire/Fira spells.
  • Dodge Abzu's Pounce attack when it rears up on the wall to Pressure it.
  • Use Focused Thrust and Focused Strikes when Abzu is Pressured. Target one of its Horns.
  • Beware of Abzu's Blackwater Blast; distance yourself from the erupting pipe.
  • Breaking off a Horn will Pressure Abzu, allowing for Stagger and defeat with Fire spells and Focused attacks.
  • Tifa's Feathered Gloves offer high Physical/Magic power, the highest Speed boost, and a significant Attack Power boost. Their unique ability, Starshower, is a powerful 9-hit combo that buffs subsequent attacks by 70%.
