Walkthrough
- 1Upon arriving at Castle Sasune, Ingus joins your party. After cutscenes, you'll be in the castle courtyard. Head north into the main building.
- 2The beds in the castle can be used as a free inn to heal HP/MP.
- 3In the next area, go west through a cracked wall to find a Phoenix Down.
- 4Go through the southeastern wall to find two entrances. The southeastern one leads to two 1,000 Gil chests.
- 5Continue along the path to find chests containing a Leather Shield and the Blizzard Spell.
- 6Go northwest and through a wall, then north and east to find a chest with Bronze Knuckles.
- 7Return to the second floor room where you first went through walls, then go upstairs twice through the center to trigger a scene. You'll be directed to the Sealed Cave.
- 8From the castle courtyard, go northwest into the West Tower. Ascend the stairs, finding chests with Holy Arrow and Wooden Arrow. Continue to the top for a chest containing a Wightslayer, followed by a boss battle.
- 9After the Griffon battle, return downstairs and enter the eastern tower.
- 10Ascend the eastern tower, finding chests with Wooden Arrow and Holy Arrow on the third floor. At the top, open chests for a Bow, another Wooden Arrow, and a Potion.
- 11Take a free nap in the bed in the East Tower.
- 12Finish any remaining business in Castle Sasune and then depart for the Sealed Cave.

Strategy: The Griffon is not exceptionally difficult. Equip the Wightslayer found in the West Tower before or during the battle. You can switch equipment mid-battle without using a turn. Focus on attacking.
