Saronia Castle

Defeat Garuda: The boss has 10,000 HP and uses a physical attack and a party-wide Lightning/Thunder attack. The best strategy is to use the Dragoon's Jump ability, especially with Wind Spears, which can deal around 2,500-3,000 damage per hit. Alternatively, use the Aero spell or the Dark Knight's Souleater with the Blood and Royal Swords for around 800 damage. A Bard with the Loki Harp can also boost damage by 20-25% per use.

Loot East-Central Chests: After the boss fight and cutscenes, head through the east-central wall and follow the path to find a dozen treasure chests containing an Ice Rod, a Tome of Fire, a Tome of Ice, a Tome of Light, a Golem Staff, a Medusa Arrow, a Rusty Mail, a Main Gauche, a Scholar Hat, a Selene Bow, a Boomerang, and a Dragon Hammer.

Loot Hidden East Side Chests: Go down the nearby stairs. In the next area, head south into a large room. Follow the hidden path on the east side to find six more chests containing another Rusty Mail, a Viking Helm, Viking Mail, a Dragon Helm, a Gaia Vest, and an Earthen Bell.

Loot Linear Path Chests: Go to the western building in the castle courtyard. Enter the hidden passage to the east. In the next area, go west, through the wall, north, east, south, and west to the next area. Continue along the linear path to find two Phoenix Downs.

Upgrade Ship: Back in the castle courtyard, enter the eastern building and speak with the four men to upgrade your ship to the Nautilus.

Visit Shops: Leave the castle and consider visiting the shops in the four Saronian towns, which have now been unlocked.
