Alright, so you've made it to Dogas Manor! This is a pretty important spot, not just for the shops but because you'll meet a key character here. Let's get you through it.

As soon as you get inside, just follow the path. You'll trigger a scene where Doga joins your party. He's got a request for you – he wants you to escort him to the Cave of the Circle. Keep that in mind!

After that little chat, you'll find a room packed with Moogles. This is your chance to hit up the shops. You'll see an Item Shop and a Magic Shop here. For the Item Shop, grab some Gysahl Greens if you need them, but honestly, the potions and status-healing items are pretty standard. The real stars are in the Magic Shop. Firaga and Bio are super powerful spells, and Firaga is definitely worth saving up your Gil for. Seriously, it's a big damage boost.

Speaking of magic, Warp is interesting. It's a low-accuracy spell that tries to instantly KO enemies, but the cool part is that if it fails or even if it succeeds, it sends you back to the previous floor without a fight. Handy for getting out of sticky situations!

Aeroga is another must-have. It's the strongest wind spell you'll find for a while, so if you can afford it, grab it. Haste is also fantastic – it doubles your attack hits, which practically doubles your damage output. It's a game-changer.

Now, for Stona, which cures Petrify. The guide mentions you could buy it, but honestly, it's way more cost-effective to just buy a bunch of Gold Needles. You can get a ton of them for the price of one Stona spell, and they work for everyone. So, skip Stona and stock up on Gold Needles!

After you're done shopping, head east of the magic shop. You'll find a Fat Chocobo waiting for you. Go ahead and use its services – it's always good to have a Fat Chocobo around. Once you're done there, head north between the shops to the next section of the manor.

You'll enter a room that looks like a junk pile. Your goal here is the northeastern corner. Look for a candle – examining it will open up a secret path. Follow this new path, and you'll eventually reach a point where you absolutely have to be Minimized to proceed. Make sure you have the Mini spell learned and ready to go; there's really no excuse not to have it by this point in the game. Once you're small enough, you can head towards that cave we talked about earlier!
