Alright, let's head into Southwest Saronia! It's a pretty important town, especially for a couple of key things you'll want to grab.

First up, you'll want to find the big L-shaped building on the east side of town. Head inside, and you'll meet a guy who knows all about the legendary Fat Chocobos. He'll even show you how they work by using a Gysahl Greens item. Basically, these giant birds can store tons of items in their bellies. Back in the day, when inventory space was super tight, they were a lifesaver. In the DS version, you've got way more room, so they're more of a cool trophy or a nod to the old games, but hey, use 'em if you want!

While you're in that building, don't miss a hidden passage on the east side. It's easy to overlook! This passage leads to a whopping eleven chests, all packed with Gysahl Greens. Definitely grab those!

Now, leave that building and make your way to the pub, which is up in the northern part of town. Inside, you'll witness a scene where Prince Alus is getting picked on. Thankfully, Arc steps in to defend him, and your party will step in to help defeat the bullies. After that little scuffle, you'll see another scene, and Prince Alus will actually join your party!

With that taken care of, let's go snag some free gear. Head to the southwestern part of town. You'll find a guy who'll give you a Wind Spear. Then, on the little island in the center of town, another guy is waiting to hand over some Dragon Mail. Not bad for just exploring!
