Falgabard

Begin by visiting the shops in Falgabard. The Weapon Shop sells the Ashura for 16,000 Gil, which is highly recommended for the Dark Knight job. Other notable items include the Yoichi Bow for 42,000 Gil and Yoichi Arrows for 500 Gil. The Armor Shield shop offers the Demon Mail for 25,000 Gil and the Demon Shield for 12,500 Gil. The Magic Shop sells spells like Fira, Blizzara, Thundara, Cura, Teleport, and Blindna, all for 1,500 Gil each. The Item Shop has Gysahl Greens for 150 Gil, Hi-Potions for 600 Gil, Gold Needles for 100 Gil, Ottershrooms for 2,000 Gil, Echo Herbs for 100 Gil, Gnomish Bread for 200 Gil, Eye Drops for 40 Gil, and Antidotes for 80 Gil.

Locate the optional miniboss, Shinobi, in the northeastern part of town. He is found in a cave behind a waterfall.

To defeat Shinobi, you can use a well-rounded team with careful MP management, or the four Dragoons strategy. A White Mage with high defense can also be useful for healing, or a Dark Knight strategy focusing on Souleater.

Upon defeating Shinobi, you will obtain the Kiku-ichimonji, a Dark Blade.

As you leave the cave, use the waterway outside to find four chests containing the Demon Mail, Demon Shield, Blessed Hammer, and a Hi-Potion.

Return and use the northwestern cave to proceed.
