Guide to exploring the Everfall in Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen, covering the Chamber of Anxiety, Chamber of Absence (Bridge and Hall), and Chamber of Hesitation.
Walkthrough
- 1Chamber of Anxiety: Enter this 'Hall' area. The western hall is where you start. The central hall contains foes like a Wight, Skeleton Knights, Undead Warriors, and Skeleton Sorcerers. Defeating the Wight can yield Wakestones and Wakestone Shards. Loot the rounded chest in the southern end of the central hall for items such as Burnished Bracers, Dragon’s Presence, Meloirean Plate, Philosopher’s Robe, and Steel Gauntlets.
- 2Chamber of Absence (Bridge): This 'Bridge' area has an upper floor with rooms and balconies connected by a bridge. The south-eastern room is blocked. A lower level can be accessed via stairs on the northern balcony or by jumping from the southern balcony. The upper area has Geo Saurians and Skeleton Sorcerers. Loot the rounded chest in the south-western room for items like Crimson Sabatons, Dragon’s Pain, Lordly Cloak, Shadow Gauntlets, and Stalwart Bow. Descend to the lower level via the northern stairs. Defeat the Hellhounds and note the layout: two large chambers (north and south) connected in the east. The north-western chamber and large southern chamber have doors to the west, with the southern one being accessible. There are two more groups of Hellhounds on the lower level. Exit through the southern door.
- 3Chamber of Absence (Hall): This is another 'Hall' area. Enemies here are Goblins, Hobgoblins, and Grim Goblins in the central chamber. After defeating them, find three rounded chests in the southern end of the central chamber. These chests can contain valuable gear. Utilize save/loading to acquire desired items from these chests.
- 4Chamber of Hesitation (Hall): This 'Hall' area is occupied by Saurian Sages, a rare and powerful Saurian type. They are found in the southern and eastern halls. The western hall is blocked. A door at the end of the eastern hall leads onward, near which is a rounded chest. Through this door is another area. The Dragon Quickening (Magick Bow) and Twilight Manicae (arm-wear) can be found in this area.
Tips
- Boss-type monsters and even humble foes like Cyclops and Drakes commonly drop Wakestones and Wakestone Shards in the Everfall.
- Lesser monsters typically drop healing items.
- Ferrystones have an increased drop rate in the Everfall.
- Save/loading is a tedious but effective method for acquiring the best loot from chests in the Everfall. It's more efficient to open multiple chests per save/load cycle.
- Consider exploring without Pawns when save/loading for loot, as they may pick up items unintentionally.
- Saurian Sages are the strongest Saurian type, capable of dealing and taking significant damage. They can cast spells like Anodyne.
