- 1The Breathing Chasm: Activate the first Sacred Grove by heading north. To start the Reap or Weep side quest, find the large creature northeast of the first Sacred Grove and retrieve its lost eyes from a hidden cave near the northwestern Sacred Grove. For the Two-Headed Spear hidden side quest, read the inscription on a rock near the third Sacred Grove in the southwest, find the two Spear Head quest cards (one near the entrance nest, the other below the northwestern Sacred Grove), use them in battle to combine them, and then interact with the inscription rock again.
- 2The Hidden Vale: From the Sacred Grove in the southwest of The Breathing Chasm, head left into The Hidden Vale. Activate the Sacred Grove found along the path. To complete The Laughing Face of Death side quest, rest at the Sacred Grove multiple times to interact with a revived Spirit who repeatedly jumps off a cliff.
