Equipping these companions with specialized gear is paramount to maximizing their effectiveness and, by extension, Ro's own combat potential. Companion gear is categorized into several slots, typically including a 'Talisman,' 'Armor,' and 'Weapon' slot, each affecting different aspects of the companion's performance.

For instance, a companion like Kael might benefit from a 'Runic Amulet' talisman, which increases his base HP by 50 and grants him a 10% chance to resist incoming damage. His armor slot could be filled with 'Bearhide Vestments,' providing an additional 20 defense points and a slight boost to his threat generation, drawing enemy aggression away from Ro. If Kael is equipped with a 'Great Axe,' his melee damage output could be increased by 15%, making him a more potent offensive ally. Conversely, a support companion might utilize different gear. A spirit companion might be equipped with a 'Whispering Orb' talisman, which passively regenerates Ro's Mana by 1 point every 3 turns, or 'Ethereal Robes' that reduce the cooldown of their healing abilities by 20%.

Companion gear can be found through exploration, looted from defeated enemies, or crafted at specific crafting stations using scavenged materials.
