Alright, let's talk about Brimstone in Conan Exiles. This stuff is super important, and you're gonna need a good chunk of it, especially for crafting Steel. You'll spot Brimstone nodes out in the world – they've got this yellowish hue, kinda like sandstone. Just like any other ore, you'll need a Pick to mine it.

When you're out looking for Brimstone, your best bet is to check around cave entrances. They're usually yellow and pretty easy to spot. Some good spots include Gallaman’s Tomb, Sinner’s Refuge, and Executioner’s Entrance. You can check out the table below for a quick reference:

Beyond caves, the Shattered Springs area also has a ton of Brimstone. It looks a bit different here, more like stalagmites coming out of the water. Just a heads-up, though: this area is toxic, and you'll get a stacking debuff from the fumes. You can use a Sandstorm Breathing Mask to help, but you'll need Steel Bars to craft that, which is what you're trying to get Brimstone for in the first place!

You can also get Brimstone from defeating certain enemies like Rocknoses or Sandbeasts, but honestly, it's not the most efficient way and can be pretty dangerous. You'll get way less Brimstone this way.

Now, a lot of players get stuck trying to find Brimstone up North. Good news and bad news: there are no known Brimstone locations in the North of the Exiled Lands right now. So, if you're heading that way, make sure to stock up beforehand. You might get lucky with a Rocknose drop, but don't count on it.

If you're playing the Isle of Siptah DLC, Brimstone is plentiful in the central regions. You can use the Isle of Siptah Interactive Map to pinpoint exact locations.

So, what's all this Brimstone for? Its main use is crafting Steelfire by combining it with Tar. Steelfire is the key ingredient for turning Iron Bars into Steel Bars. To make Steelfire, you'll need a Firebowl Cauldron, and then you'll use a Furnace to forge the Steel Bars. It takes a bit of work, especially early on, but the upgrade in weapons alone makes it totally worth it.

While Brimstone is also used for making Dyes, Dragonpowder, and enhancing some Guardian armor sets, its primary importance is definitely in the Steel Bar creation process. And one last thing: you can't craft Brimstone itself. You've got to go out and find it in the world.
