Before diving into acquiring cold weather armor in Conan Exiles, let's review the top sets to help you choose which to pursue, saving you time and resources.

The Godbreaker armor set is considered the best for cold resistance. It offers excellent base protection of 1037 and a significant cold resistance of 50, effectively mitigating freezing.

Next are the Rusted and Arena Champion’s armor sets, providing respectable base protection of 800 and a cold resistance of 40. These sets also offer heat resistance of 40, making them suitable for both hot and cold environments.

Finally, the Redeemed Legion set features a base protection of 880 and 30 each for cold and heat resistance. This set offers higher base stats at the cost of some cold resistance.

While other sets like Reinforced Skelos Cultist offer some cold protection, their lower base stats make the aforementioned sets more efficient choices.

How to Get Cold Resistant Armour in Conan Exiles

All these armor sets must be crafted; they cannot be found in The Exiled Lands.

Godbreaker Set

To craft the Godbreaker set, you must reach the final boss room of the dungeon in K’lael’s Stronghold. Head left to the glowing red monument and interact with it to receive the Godbreaker recipe. You will need an Improved Armour Bench. The materials required are the Rusted set, five Dragonpowder, 20 Alchemical Base, and 20 Armour Scraps.

Rusted and Arena Champion Sets

Access to K’lael’s Stronghold dungeon is also required for these sets. The Rusted armor recipe is obtained when you acquire the Godbreaker recipe. For the Arena Champion set recipe, proceed to the Arena Champion’s boss room. Take an immediate right, and on your left, you will find a blue glowing monument to interact with.

The Rusted set requires Perfected Heavy Padding, Star Metal Bar, Armor Scraps, and Alchemical Base for each piece. The Champion set requires Armor Scraps, Perfected Heavy Padding, and Layered Fur.

Redeemed Legion Set

To obtain the Redeemed Legion set recipe, find an Armorer Thrall. Once you have the recipe, gather the required resources and craft it at your Improved Armorer’s Bench.
