The Chapter 2 - Age of War Battle Pass in Conan Exiles is unlocked by purchasing Crom Coins with real-life money. Existing Crom Coins from previous Battle Passes will carry over. There are two purchase options: a regular purchase for 1,200 Crom Coins (£8.49) and a premium purchase for 3,000 Crom Coins (£29.39). The premium version automatically unlocks the first 15 tiers.
Crom Coins can also be obtained by reaching specific tiers within the Battle Pass itself, but purchasing the pass is necessary to access these.
The challenge system is crucial for progressing through Battle Pass tiers and earning rewards. Five main challenges reset daily, offering a limited time to complete them. These challenges can sometimes be difficult to align with your current level or preferences. Examples of daily challenges include skinning crocodiles, crafting armor, harvesting Bloodstone or Black Ice, and killing Purge enemies. Players can re-roll daily challenges if they encounter difficulties or wish for different objectives. While challenges can be completed without engaging in the Battle Pass, active participation earns XP towards Battle Pass tiers. Completing challenges without the Battle Pass active still contributes XP if the Battle Pass is unlocked later. This means that accumulating enough XP can allow instant access to all Battle Pass rewards upon purchase.
The base Battle Pass allows players to start from scratch, while the premium version grants an automatic 15 tier level boost. Daily challenges refresh every 24 hours, with an option to re-roll for variety.
