How to Get and Use the Delving Bench

Learn how to obtain the Delving Bench on the Isle of Siptah by finding research notes at the Leyshrine of the Fiends. Discover how to use it with Eldarium to craft unique armor and weapon schematics.

The Delving Bench is a special crafting station in Conan Exiles that allows players to obtain unique armor and weapon schematics. It is primarily available on the Isle of Siptah, though it can be obtained in The Exiled Lands via the admin console.

How to Get the Delving Bench on the Isle of Siptah:

1. Travel to the Leyshrine of the Fiends, located east of The Tower in the central part of the Isle of Siptah.
2. The leyshrine is guarded by accursed humanoids and skeletons. You can let them fight each other before engaging.
3. Inside the leyshrine, navigate to the central area where the Leyshrine research notes are located.
4. Interact with the research notes to learn the recipe for the Delving Bench. Be prepared for an ambush of humanoids when you reach the notes. Alternatively, you can interact with the notes and quickly escape.
5. Once you have learned the recipe, return to your base and craft the Delving Bench.

How to Build the Delving Bench:

• The Delving Bench requires 30 Insulated Wood, 38 Hardened Brick, and 20 Eldarium to craft.
• The recipe can be found in the “Special” tab of the Crafting Stations menu.

How to Use the Delving Bench:

1. To use the bench, you will need Eldarium (50 per item) and a weapon or piece of armor.
2. Combine these items in the “Delve” section of the Delving Bench.
3. The bench will produce a random schematic for a weapon or armor piece. This schematic can then be used to learn the recipe, which can be crafted at your regular armorer and blacksmith benches.

Where to Find Eldarium:

• Eldarium is a resource exclusive to the Isle of Siptah.
• It is often found as Decaying Eldarium, which can be reforged into pure Eldarium. Refer to the “How to Make Eldarium Bars” guide for more details.

Important Notes:

• The Delving Bench's functionality was changed in update 3.0 and further revamped with the Age of War update. It now yields random schematics instead of specific items.
• While the results are random, some obtainable schematics are unique and cannot be found elsewhere.
• You can use relatively weak weapons or armor pieces to obtain schematics for potentially much better items.
• The Delving Bench can be a worthwhile endeavor if you have sufficient resources, despite the random nature of the outcomes.
