Walkthrough
  1. 1
Opening The Dregs: Locate The Dregs west of Skulker's End. Approach the entrance and head inside. Ghosts will appear and a scene will play. To open the dungeon, lure an NPC onto the central dome and kill them. This will reveal a staircase leading down.
  2. 2
First Water Puzzle Room: Enter a large room filled with shallow water and Komodo Dragons. There's an optional Raging Albino Komodo on the left. You can find chests with arrows and a bow in this room. Dive into the pool in front of the stairs to find a chest with arrows. Another chest is on a small dock on the left, containing a bow. A third chest is in the deep water in the top right.
  3. 3
Second Water Puzzle Room: Proceed up the stairs and interact with the door next to the ghosts. In the next corridor, shoot the switch on the wall in the middle with an arrow to raise the water level.
  4. 4
Third Water Puzzle Room: The next room contains three Skeletons. Defeat them and open the door. This room also has water. A chest with arrows is on a platform to the right. At the end of the middle platform, look left to find another switch. Shoot it to raise the water high enough to proceed.
  5. 5
Fourth Water Puzzle Room: In this more difficult room, shoot the circle in the middle to raise the water. Then, activate switches on both the left and right sides of the room. This will cause the area leading to the next ledge to fill with water.
  6. 6
Fifth Water Puzzle Room: Cross the newly filled area to the next ledge. You'll encounter another rising water section in front of steps. Wait for the water to peak and cross it to get on the steps.
  7. 7
Skeleton Encounters: Head down the steps and defeat the Skeleton at the bottom. The next room has five Skeletons; be prepared for a fight. After defeating them, loot the two chests, one on each side of the second floor, behind pillars.
  8. 8
Final Puzzle Room: Enter the final puzzle room. Grab arrows from a chest on the rubble pathway. Go to the platform on the left side of the room. At the end of this platform, look at the right wall for a switch. Aim slightly above the trigger to hit it.
  9. 9
Path to Boss: Cross over to the platform on the left side, jumping if necessary. Proceed down the hallway and kill the two Skeletons. Head up the stairs to face the boss.

Boss Fight: Abysmal Remnant

  1. Stats: 2348 Health, 34 Armor.
  2. Attacks: Shoots acid balls, breathes acid in a half-circle in front of it.
  3. Strategy: Dodge the acid attacks by moving. You can damage the boss with arrows from a distance. When the boss submerges and lunges, it will remain stationary for a few seconds after lunging. Use this opportunity for close-range attacks.
  • Harvest the boss for Abysmal Eye, Abysmal Fang, and Abysmal Flesh.
  • At the bottom of the boss's pool, read the red book to unlock recipes for Abysmal Arrows, Abysmal Dagger, Abysmal Sword, Dredger, and Reptile Leather.
  • Open Legendary Chests in the pool if you have keys.
  • Exit the dungeon through the sewer grate at the back of the room.
Tips
  • Lure an NPC onto the central dome at the entrance and kill them to open the dungeon.
  • Shoot switches with arrows to raise water levels and progress.
  • Be prepared for multiple Skeleton encounters.
  • The Abysmal Remnant can be damaged with arrows from afar, but close-range attacks are effective when it lunges.
  • Don't forget to check chests for arrows and a bow early on.
