Explore the Inverted Castle in Castlevania: Rondo of Blood, finding items like the zircon and Royal Cloak, and encountering enemies like Yorick and Tombstone.

The Inverted Castle is an upside-down equivalent of Dracula's Castle. Most secrets found in the normal castle are likely present here, though some objects are absent due to gravity. You begin in the Inverted Castle's teleporter room within the Castle Keep. Jump out of the teleporter and head left towards the entrance. The stairs are activated, and a zircon can be found in a vase on a table.

Go down the now-open stairs into a familiar room full of vases. Here you will collect three life max ups, three heart max ups, a Royal Cloak (+2 defense, but inferior to the Blood Cloak), and a Bastard sword (inferior to your Ice Brand).

Leave this room and head left. Drop down, continue left, and you will encounter a Yorick (a skeleton missing its head). Proceed left into the room where you obtained the Ghost card in the normal castle. It is crucial to hug every wall in this area to get complete map coverage.

In this room, you will receive a High Potion, Resist Ice, Resist Fire, Resist Stone, and Resist Thunder.

Exit this room and return to the central part of the Keep to cover (press the cover button to crouch behind walls or objects) the entire open area. Head to the location where you acquired the extended mist form in the Normal Castle. Move counter-clockwise around this room to gain map coverage and collect hidden items. You will find the iron ball item above the room with the teleporter. Ascending from there, likely using bat form, you will reach the pedestal where the Leap Stone was. Above this pedestal is a breakable wall containing the Dawn Sword, a two-handed sword that summons a skeleton army when you input bottom + left or bottom + right commands. Above the breakable wall is a garnet, where the Leap Stone was in the normal castle. Ensure you fill all map coverage in this room before leaving the Keep's open space.

Once all coverage is obtained, go through the door on the bottom left, below the broken staircase. Head left, drop down, and enter the room on the left to get a library card. Return up and left to use the save point. Head upwards, ignoring the red door on the left, and proceed through two small platforms to reach another section of the Keep.

In the new room, you will find moving platforms. Enter the room on the left to obtain the lightning mail. Return up and go through the door on the left (another red door) to find the Inverted Castle's teleporter. A platform will raise you to use it; press up to reach the keyhole. You need to discover another teleporter to use this one.

Exit the teleporter and proceed across from the red door on the right to the next room, which leads away from the Castle Keep towards the Royal Chapel area. This next area is a long hallway populated by Tombstone enemies, which are simple to defeat. The door to the Royal Chapel is at the end of this hallway.
