Learn how to backtrack through the Marble Gallery to reach the Colosseum in Castlevania: Rondo of Blood. Find the Life Max Up and progress past new enemies.

Alright, so you've snagged the Leap Stone – nice work! Now, we need to head back to the Colosseum, and the quickest way there is to backtrack through the Marble Gallery. Don't worry, it's not too bad.

Walkthrough
  1. 1
As soon as you exit the Teleporter, make your way down to the elevator and take it all the way down.
  2. 2
Once you're at the bottom, look for a gap near a pot that contains a Life Max Up. Drop down into this gap.
  3. 3
You'll see a red door on your left. Head through it.
  4. 4
Next, you'll enter a long hallway. This area is home to the Stone Rose and Diplocephalus enemies. Keep moving through it.
  5. 5
After that room, continue heading left. You'll come to a four-way split in the path. Take the top-left path.
  6. 6
Keep pushing forward along this route. We're essentially heading back towards the area where you had that first cutscene with Maria – that's your signpost for reaching the Colosseum.
  7. 7
Eventually, you'll find yourself in a room with a prominent clock in the background. Here's the trick: you need to wait for the statue on the left side of the room to move outwards.
  8. 8
Once the statue moves, you'll see a new path open up. Thanks to your new Leap Stone, you can now jump up and access this previously blocked area!
  9. 9
Keep going, and just before you reach another red door, you'll spot another Life Max Up. Grab it before proceeding!
Tips
  • The Stone Rose enemies spit out projectiles, so be ready to dodge or block.
  • Diplocephalus are those flying, bat-like creatures. They can be a bit annoying in tight corridors, so try to take them out quickly.
  • Don't forget to grab those Life Max Ups – they'll make the tougher sections ahead much more manageable.
  • The statue puzzle might seem a little confusing, but just be patient and wait for it to move. The Leap Stone is key here!
