Walkthrough

From the red door, continue left into the underground caverns. Clear Rock Knights and Blue Venus weeds. Swim with the wolf form to get water coverage at the top of the rooms. Continue left and go down the drop.

In the vertical room with balloon pods, hug the right while dropping down to slip past them without popping. About halfway down, enter the passage on the right for a detour. At the dead-end, collect an Opal. Return to the vertical room and continue dropping.

In the next room, you'll find a Jack O’ Bones and Nova Skeleton. To their right is an entrance. The first room contains a Life Max Up. Destroy the wall on the right to find a room with a diamond. Return to the Jack O’ Bones and Nova Skeleton room.

Go left past the two skeletons into a new vertical section parallel to the previous one. A save point is on the left. Head up this vertical room.

When you can no longer advance via stairs, take the path on the left. This area previously led to the Succubus boss.

In the first room, clear skeletons and continue left. The next room has another skeleton and a pot with a Heart Max Up. The following room contains five pots with meal tickets.

The next room is a dead end. The room on the right has a save point. The room on the left, which previously held the Succubus, now contains only peanuts.

To use the peanuts, equip them like a weapon or usable item. Press UP on the directional pad while Alucard throws them to consume them and heal. You'll see green numbers above his head and Alucard will perform an air fist.

Leave this section and return to where the stairs ended. Ascend the vertical room using gravity jumps or bat/mist form. Gravity Jump is faster.

You will land back in the caverns proper. Save to the left. Ascend towards the save room and head left for a battle with your Doppleganger.

Doppleganger40 Fight: This fight is similar to the first encounter but with increased difficulty. The Doppleganger may poison you with his attacks and the Rebound Stone sub-weapon. He can also use bat form to charge and occasionally gravity jump. Use the Gas Cloud form to damage him. After defeating the Doppleganger, you will receive a Life Max Up.

After the Doppleganger fight, proceed left. Collect a zircon on the platform above. Fly over the next drop-off; the other side is a dead end.

Fly into the drop-off to enter a section filled with dark octopi. Avoid them using mist form. Collect a pot roast from a pot on the left.

On the right side of this peculiar room, find the Dark Blade, a powerful sword. Leave this section and return to the Doppleganger40's boss room entrance.

Outside the Doppleganger40's room, the ceiling in the upper right corner is breakable.

In the room ahead, you will encounter more Blue Venus Weeds. This is another water section requiring map coverage.
