Complete The Treasure Hunter Quest in black myth wukong. Learn how to find the Treasure Hunter, cast Ring of Fire, and defeat the Green-Capped Martialist.
Walkthrough
- 1From the North Shrine of Bitter Lake, head left to find the Treasure Hunter being attacked by three Cyan Bats. Defeat the bats.
- 2Speak to the Treasure Hunter and exhaust all dialogue options.
- 3Continue with the main quest until you reach the Forest of Felicity in the Valley of Ecstasy. Locate the Towers of Karma Shrine by taking the left path down from the first bridge and proceeding forward.
- 4Just before the Towers of Karma Shrine, you will find the Treasure Hunter again, who is freezing.
- 5Cast the Ring of Fire Spell near him. If you don't have it set, go to the nearby Shrine and set it first.
- 6Exhaust his dialogue options again. He will give you hints about a Melon Field.
- 7To find the Melon Field, head to the Brook of Bliss Shrine (reached by going right and around from the Forest of Felicity), cross the bridge, and go down into the water.
- 8Follow the stream to the end until you see a broken bell on the ground near two enemies on a cliff edge.
- 9Defeat the enemies. Look over the cliff edge to spot a path you can drop down to.
- 10Head down the path, across a fallen tree, and down to the bottom to reach the Melon Field Shrine.
- 11Approach the large Buddha statue to your right to trigger a scene and a boss fight.
Defeating the Green-Capped Martialist:
- The Green-Capped Martialist uses a ring of fire as a weapon. Keep locked on him at all times.
- He will start by shooting a beam of fire; dodge to the side to avoid it and create an opening.
- Use Smash damage and Spirits like the Wandering Wight to knock him down.
- His combos involve tossing rings and chaining them. These are avoidable at mid-range.
- When he vanishes, his ring will spin around the arena, leaving a trail of fire. Dodge roll away from it. He will later produce a second ring.
- Beware of his Parry attack, used at close range after blocking your Light Attacks. He follows up with a swift kick.
- Spells like Immobilize are not effective against him.
Tips
- When the Treasure Hunter is attacked by Cyan Bats, using A Pluck of Many can give you an advantage.
- The Treasure Hunter is a trickster; you are lured to the Melon Field by him, who is actually the Green-Capped Martialist.
- The Green-Capped Martialist's ring attacks are easier to avoid at mid-range.
- Focus on dodging his attacks and creating openings rather than trying to use spells like Immobilize.
