Celestial Ribbon Locations

Discover all 12 Celestial Ribbon locations in Black Myth: Wukong. Learn where to find this rare crafting material from bosses, chests, and shops across Chapters 3, 5, and 6.

Celestial Ribbon is the rarest armor crafting material in Black Myth: Wukong, holding a Mythical rarity. You can obtain a total of 12 Celestial Ribbons in any given playthrough, primarily in the later stages of the game.

1. Chapter 4: Defeat the Hundred-Eyed Daoist Master at the end of the chapter.
2. Chapter 5: Defeat the Keeper of the Flaming Mountains.
3. Chapter 5: Find three chests containing Celestial Ribbons. Two are in the Secret Area.
4. Chapter 5 Secret Area: Defeat the Bishui Golden-Eyed Beast.
5. Chapter 5 Secret Area: Purchase from The Purge Pit Shrine’s Store.
6. Chapter 5: Defeat the Yaksha King at the end of the chapter.
7. Chapter 6: Purchase from a Shrine Store.
8. Chapter 6: Defeat the Supreme Inspector.
9. Chapter 3 Secret Area: Defeat the secret boss at the end of the area. This boss requires you to beat all other Secret Areas first and is considered the hardest boss in the game. This rewards the final two Ribbons.

You won’t find any Celestial Ribbons until after defeating the final boss of Chapter 4. The bosses that drop these materials are required for main story progression, making them unmissable. The Secret Area bosses, however, are optional.

To reach the first Celestial Ribbon Chest in Chapter 5, start at the Furnace Valley - Valley Entrance Shrine and continue forward. The chest is near the edge of a cliff. For a chest in the Secret Area of Chapter 5 (Bishui Cave), travel to the Cave Depths Shrine. Continue forward from the shrine and look left to find a chest. Another chest is found by continuing forward from this point and following the path; it will appear on your right in a cave with crystals.

The Celestial Ribbon from the Shrine Store in Chapter 5's Secret Area is specifically at the Purge Pit Shrine. The regular Chapter 5 Shrine store does not sell it. The final Celestial Ribbon can be purchased from a Shrine in Chapter 6.

The final two Celestial Ribbons are obtained by unlocking the Chapter 3 Secret Area, Wei Mountain, and defeating its optional superbosses. These are the toughest battles in the game and are necessary to unlock the secret ending.
