Learn how to set up Shadow Link Streetpass in The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds. Swap data with players and battle their Shadow Link for rupees!

Hey there! So, you're diving into The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds and want to get the most out of it, right? One cool feature is StreetPass, which lets you swap data with other players. When you do, their version of Shadow Link will pop up in your game, and you can battle them for a sweet rupee bounty!

To get this all set up, you'll need to head to Kakariko Village. Look for a guy named Gramps chilling in an empty field on the left side of town. Chat him up and select “Setup” from the menu.

This will bring up a screen showing Link's current heart count and his equipped items. This is what other players will see when they face your Shadow Link, so make sure Link's looking good! By default, he'll use whatever items you currently have assigned to your X and Y buttons. If you want to change those up, you can do it right here before sending your Shadow Link out into the world. Once you're happy with everything, just select “OK” to confirm.

Quick heads-up: Your Shadow Link doesn't magically update as you progress through the game. If you want to change what items or stats he shows off later on, you'll need to go back and talk to Gramps again, selecting “Setup” to refresh his data.
