Master the boss fight against Yuga in Dungeon 1: Eastern Palace in The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds. Learn Yuga's attacks and the best strategies to defeat him.
Walkthrough
- 1When the battle begins, fire an arrow at Yuga to damage and stun him.
- 2While he is stunned, approach him and repeatedly slash him with your sword.
- 3Yuga will then merge into the wall and move around as a painting. Observe his movement and position yourself directly opposite him.
- 4As Yuga emerges, he will attempt a painting attack. If you hit him with an arrow while he's doing this, his attack will fail. You may have time to fire a second arrow if the first misses.
- 5If you have trouble with diagonal shots, move until you are directly opposite him before firing.
- 6While Yuga is stunned, approach him and slash him with your sword.
- 7After taking some damage, Yuga will merge back into the wall. Repeat the process of predicting his emergence and attacking him while stunned.
- 8When Yuga has sustained significant damage, he will become angry, making his attacks tougher and causing him to move faster in painting form. Continue using the same strategy to defeat him.
Tips
- Yellow Attack: A line of thunder will appear. Sidestep to avoid it. If you miss with your arrow, do not attempt a second shot as you will get hit. When angry, a second thunder line will appear, creating a cross shape.
- Green Attack: Two enemy soldiers will appear. When angry, three soldiers will appear. Focus on defeating the soldiers; Yuga will not act until they are all dead. Soldiers may drop hearts to replenish your health.
- Red Attack: Fireballs will appear from the wall and circle across half the room. When angry, a second series of fireballs will appear on the opposite side of the room, moving in the same direction.
