Alright, so you've been adventuring through Hyrule and want to take a break without losing all your hard-earned progress. Saving your game is super important, and thankfully, it's pretty straightforward in The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds.

Once you've finished your first dungeon, you'll unlock a handy feature: the ability to warp to any weather vane you've already visited. Keep an eye out for these! They're your main save points when you're out and about.

To save, just head over to a weather vane. When you're right in front of it, press the A button. The game will then ask if you want to save. Pick “Save”, and boom – your progress is recorded!

Don't worry if you can't find a weather vane nearby during a crucial moment. The game is smart and will often give you a chance to save automatically during important story beats or when you reach certain milestones, even if there's no weather vane around.

One cool thing to note is that the game saves directly to your current save file. You won't need to pick a save slot, which simplifies things. It's all about making sure your adventure continues right where you left off.

Once you've saved, you're free to quit. You can do this by pressing the START button and selecting “Quit”, or by pressing the HOME button on your 3DS/2DS and quitting from there. Or, you know, just power down your system. Whatever's easiest for you!
