Skinning is by far the easiest gathering profession to level in World of Warcraft. It is also the easiest to catch up on if you decide to pick it up much later in the game. However, on the flip side, it is the hardest to level if you do not find any dead beasts, because Skinning is the only gathering profession that requires you to take time to kill creatures yourself.
