Learn how to gain reputation with various factions in World of Warcraft's Northrend. Discover methods like daily quests, tabards, and emblem tokens to achieve exalted status.

There are many factions throughout World of Warcraft that you can gain reputation with. Most factions require you to kill enemies to raise reputation. However, in Northrend, there are three primary ways to increase your standing:

• Wear a faction's tabard and complete heroic dungeons.
• Complete their daily quests.
• Spend emblems on faction tokens from the emblem quartermaster in Dalaran.

It is generally advised to only spend emblems as a last resort, after acquiring all other useful items.

There are four main factions in Northrend that offer tabards:

1. Kirin Tor: Quartermaster located in the Violet Hold, within Dalaran.
2. Argent Crusade: Quartermaster at their base in southeastern Icecrown, north of Dalaran, near the flight master.
3. Wyrmrest Accord: Quartermaster at the top of the temple in Dragonblight.
4. Ebon Blade: Requires completing a quest chain to make the Shadow Vault in Icecrown friendly, after which the quartermaster becomes accessible.

By obtaining their tabard and completing their daily quests, you can achieve exalted rank with these factions relatively quickly. It's recommended to check each faction's available goods to identify the most valuable items, with many players prioritizing the Wyrmrest Accord for their dragon mount.

Additionally, several other factions offer quests and unique ways to gain reputation:

• Kalu'ak: Quartermasters are found in Moa'ki (Dragonblight) and Kamagua (Howling Fjord). Primarily offer a fishing pole and a pet.
• Alliance/Horde Groups: Killing 80 dungeon enemies without a tabard equipped grants reputation towards these factions. Quartermasters for both are located in the Howling Fjord and Borean Tundra.
• Sons of Hodir: Lillehoff is located in Storm Peaks and becomes accessible after quests initiating in K3.
• The Oracles/Frenzyheart: These are two warring factions in Scholozar Basin. It is possible, and grants an achievement, to gain exalted status with both. If choosing one, the Oracles are recommended as they provide an egg with a small chance to drop a temporary flying mount. Both factions offer a single exalted item, a trinket, making the choice less critical for gear progression. Reaching revered with either faction for the egg is often considered worthwhile for a weekly cost of 2 gold.

All Northrend factions offer at least one epic item of value. The usefulness of each faction may vary depending on your current gear and needs.
