    There are two main ways to handle Loken. The first is for a really coordinated group with a strong healer: everyone just stands under him and burns him down through the novas. The second method involves your tanking him on the circle beneath his throne. When he casts 'nova,' everyone needs to run to the bottom of the first set of steps. Then, you'll have to move back and forth between that spot and the boss until he's defeated. This method takes longer, but it's much safer for your group. Even with this strategy, you'll still need a solid group to pull it off. Just a heads-up, the farther away you are from Loken, the more damage you'll take from his aura.
