Navigate Azeroth like a pro! This guide breaks down travel between major cities for Humans, Night Elves, Forsaken, Orcs, and more. Learn how to reach Darnassus, Undercity, Orgrimmar, and beyond.

Hey there! So you're diving into World of Warcraft: Midnight and wondering how to get around? Don't worry, it can seem a bit confusing at first, but once you know the routes, it's a breeze. Think of this as your friendly guide to hopping between the major cities and continents.

Alliance Travel:

If you're starting as a Human, you'll be near Stormwind City (SW). Stormwind is super central for the Alliance. To get to the Dwarves and Gnomes, you'll want to hop on the tram that connects SW directly to Ironforge (IF). It's a quick ride!

Now, for the Night Elves, they're a bit further west. The easiest way to reach them is by taking the ship from the harbor in Stormwind. Look for the ship on the left-most dock. Alternatively, if you're already with the Night Elves in their starting area, Auberdine, you can take a ship from there back to Stormwind.

Once you're in Auberdine, whether you're Human or a Gnome/Dwarf, you can catch another ship. This one will take you to Rut'theran Village (or 'Rut' for short). From Rut'theran, just step into the glowing red portal, and bam! You're in the Night Elf capital, Darnassus. And if you're looking to get to the Exodar, there's another ship waiting at the very end of the dock in Rut'theran Village.

The cool thing is, once you reach any of these major Alliance cities, you've basically unlocked access to all the others. Make sure to visit each city's weapon trainer to learn new weapon skills – they're usually found near weapon shops or battleground areas.

Horde Travel:

Starting as a Forsaken, you'll begin near the Undercity. From there, a zeppelin is your main mode of transport to and from Orgrimmar, the Orc capital. Getting to Thunder Bluff, the Tauren city, is a bit more of a journey. You can take a flight path from Orgrimmar, or if you're feeling adventurous (and have the time), you can walk there. Some say there's a zeppelin route from Orgrimmar to Thunder Bluff now, but if not, you'll be hoofing it, which takes a while but isn't too dangerous.

Cross-Faction Travel & Beyond:

No matter which faction you're playing, all major cities have portals available near the mage trainers. These portals lead to the Dark Portal in the Blasted Lands. Once you hit level 58, you can use the Dark Portal to travel to Outland. It's a whole new world out there!

So, the main takeaway is that once you get to a major city, you're pretty much connected to everywhere else. Happy travels!
