Discover the best ways to acquire powerful PvP gear in World of Warcraft: Midnight. Learn about honor points, Wintergrasp marks, Alterac Valley, and more.

Gear Acquisition:

1. Faction Capitol: Purchase PvP gear at level 80 using honor points. Gear pieces cost between 31,000 and 49,000 honor. Equipping two pieces of the same set grants a bonus, and four pieces provide an even better perk. A separate vendor sells trinkets, rings, capes, and necklaces.
2. Wintergrasp: Participate in faction battles for Wintergrasp. The quartermaster there offers some base gear pieces and trinkets. Level 80 equipment requires marks of honor, which are earned by killing 15 players (or being nearby) and winning matches (3 marks per win).
3. Alterac Valley & Other Battlegrounds: Alterac Valley is highlighted as the best option for honor, with wins yielding approximately 1600 honor and losses around 600 honor. Arathi matches are also noted as quick. It's recommended to rotate through all Battlegrounds and complete daily quests.

Currency & Special Items:

• Honor Points: Used to purchase gear directly in your faction's capitol.
• Marks of Honor: Earned from Wintergrasp and other Battlegrounds. Can be spent at a battlemaster for the quest "Conserted Efforts" for honor or to buy mounts.
• Stone Keeper Shards: Can be spent on honor from the Wintergrasp quartermaster, but marks of honor may be more valuable long-term.
• Heirlooms: Sold by the Wintergrasp quartermaster, these are intended for lower-level characters on your server, not your level 80 character.

Important Considerations:

• Gear from the VoA bosses also drops PvP gear.
• Arena sets are typically the highest item level gear available.
• Resilience is a PvP-exclusive stat and does not benefit PvE content.
• While PvP gear can be useful for heroics at level 80, reputation gains, crafted gear, and even blue 80 gear may offer better overall stats for PvE compared to resilience-heavy PvP gear. These sets are generally best for DPS characters.
• Daily quests in Wintergrasp, which previously offered significant honor, are now weekly.
