Explore the 'Bus to Nowhere' VRChat world! Learn about interactive props, discover hidden objectives, and master the unique features of this dynamic, player-driven experience.

The 'Bus to Nowhere' is a VRChat world created by user Beyond, based on a Roblox game mode. Up to 20 players can ride a moving, interactive 'time bus' that travels between different biomes. While seemingly abstract, the world contains many unmarked objectives and discoverable elements, making it more than just a hangout spot.

1st Floor: The Bus Interior

The bus features a driver's dash with HUD indicators for speed, in-game time, current biome, miles traveled, and charged fuel cells. If a player occupies the driver's seat, a prompt appears allowing them to choose one of three randomly selected destinations (locations marked '????????' are undiscovered). If no destination is chosen, one is selected randomly. The bus is autonomous and can travel without a driver. The driver can interact with the horn and windshield wipers. The bus speed increases from 60mph to 78mph when someone is in the driver's seat.

To the right of the driver are a radio, a digital passenger list, and three buttons: 'Climbing' (VR only), 'Airtime', and 'Chair'.

Adjacent to these is a Ticket slot with an introductory screen and a piece of paper on the windshield detailing recent patch notes. An overhead ticker displays messages from 'local news networks' and other passenger information.

The exit door can be opened and closed. A functional fire extinguisher is available for emergencies. An accessible phone near the driver occasionally rings with random calls, ranging from humorous to creepy.

A mounted Flatscreen TV offers several functions:

  • Clicking the screen toggles it on/off.
  • The blue button accesses a standard Video Player.
  • The mid-yellow button activates the Location Tracker, showing previously encountered/discovered locations.
  • The green button cycles through pre-selected meme channels.

Near the floor, a vent provides access to the Engine Room, but it can only be entered at Night Time.

Luggage compartments above the seats contain pre-set items:

  • Above the Driver's Seat: A red coil that increases movement speed, and a 9mm pistol with unlimited ammo.
  • Above passenger seats: Two confetti guns, a small replica of a red bus, and a skeleton's horn.
