Discover the secrets of VRChat's 'Bus To Nowhere' world. Learn about its unique mechanics, discoverable locations, and hidden objectives in this comprehensive guide.

Welcome to the guide for "Bus To Nowhere," a VRChat world created by user Beyond, inspired by a Roblox game mode. This world features a dynamic, interactive "time bus" that transports up to 20 players through various biomes. While seemingly abstract, the world is filled with unmarked objectives and discoveries, making it more than just a social hub.

The Bus - 1st Floor:

  1. Driver's Area: Features a dashboard with Bus Speed, Time of Day, Current Biome, Miles Traveled, and Fuel Cells. The driver can select one of three random destinations (or one is chosen randomly if none is selected). The bus speeds up to 78 mph when a driver is present. The driver can also interact with the horn and wipers.
  2. Passenger Area: Includes a radio, passenger list, and buttons for Climbing (VR only), Airtime, and Chairs. A Ticket slot with an introductory screen and a windshield paper detailing patch notes are also present.
  3. Information Ticker: Displays messages from local news and other passenger-relevant information.
  4. Exits & Safety: The main door can be opened/closed. A functional fire extinguisher is available for emergencies.
  5. Communication: An accessible phone receives random calls, ranging from humorous to unsettling.
  6. Entertainment: A Flatscreen TV can be turned on/off. The blue button accesses a Video Player, the mid-yellow button activates the Location Tracker, and the green button cycles through meme channels.
  7. Hidden Access: A vent near the floor leads to the Engine Room, accessible only at Night Time.
  8. Luggage Compartments: Contain items like a speed-increasing Red Coil, an infinite ammo 9mm pistol, confetti guns, a toy bus, a skeleton's horn, firework sparklers, robot plushies, a guitar, and a hammer.
  9. Bathroom: Located at the back, contains a broom, bucket, cheezburger, spray bottle, and a glowing fungus man. Items flushed down the toilet respawn in the Engine Room.
  10. Other: A Bulletin board and stairs to the 2nd floor are on the opposite side of the bathroom.

The Bus - 2nd Floor:

  1. Mirrors: Two buttons control a player-exclusive mirror and a global mirror.
  2. Storage: Compartments near the upper windshield hold a Rainbow Color Pencil, infinitely respawning cookies, a Vineboom easter island head, Mar-Plush, and a Blue Coil (increases jump height).
  3. Seating: A box of infinitely spawning pizza is in one seat on the right. The mechanical head of a passenger is under a seat on the left.
  4. Mystery Drink: "Have's Mysterious Drink" is located between the 3rd and 4th seats on the right.
  5. Roof Access: A ladder behind a small crate leads to the roof. An empty Battery for the Time Bus Engine is also found here.

The Roof:

  1. Seating: Multiple seats are available for passengers.
  2. Amenities: A miniature table with color pencils, erasers, and a Simon Says toy. A minifridge contains canned carbonated beverages.
  3. Photography: A smartphone that only takes pictures is located on the front left ridge.
  4. UI Screens: Two screens display the current Location and in-game time of day.

Engine Room:

  1. Description: Currently little is known, but it's overrun with strange biomass. An upgrade console is present.
  2. Engine Requirement: The large tank-like device requires three Fully Charged Batteries. One is already charged in the room; two empty batteries must be found.
  3. Warning: Do not look up in this room.
  4. Discovery: A still beating heart is in the center.
  5. Modification: After inserting all charged batteries, the engine can be permanently modified by inserting an item (which will be destroyed).
