Event: Old One's Army

Alright, let's talk about the Old One's Army event in Terraria. It's a pretty unique one because you have to summon it yourself, and it's all about defending a crystal from waves of enemies. You'll be buying some special stuff from the Tavernkeep to get it going.

How to Summon: First things first, you need to buy an Eternia Stand and an Eternia Crystal from the Tavernkeep. Once you've got those, you'll need to find a nice, flat area. Make sure you clear out at least 61 tiles to the left and 61 tiles to the right of where you plan to put the stand – that's 123 tiles total. Then, just pop the Eternia Crystal onto the Stand, and bam! The event kicks off.

This event actually has three tiers, but you'll only have access to Tier 1 when you first start. To unlock Tier 2, you'll need to have beaten at least one mechanical boss in Hardmode. For Tier 3, you'll need to have defeated Golem in Hardmode. Each tier brings tougher enemies and bigger challenges.

The Goal: Basically, enemies will start spawning from portals on both the left and right sides of your Eternia Stand. They'll march towards the Eternia Crystal, and your main job is to stop them before they destroy it. The event is over once you've defeated all the waves for the final tier. Keep an eye out for mini-bosses too – they show up on the last wave of each tier. For Tier 1, it's the Dark Mage; Tier 2 has the Ogre; and Tier 3 brings Betsy.
