  • Zelos has a lot of HP and uses many of his powerful tech attacks. Be prepared to use plenty of healing items like Life Bottles and Gels.
  • When Zelos enters Over Limit, he can cast spells without charge time, making him very dangerous.
  • Make good use of the Guardian Skill to mitigate damage.
  • Don't hesitate to use all your resources; this fight can be item-intensive. Some players have reported using around 8 Life Bottles, 15 Orange Gels, and 18 Apple Gels.

After the battle with Zelos, you'll find yourself in a strange room. Save your game. At the fork, head North and use your Sorcerer's Ring on the branch blocking the path to enter the next area.

Jump across to the walkway using the A Button. After the scene, grab the 'Diamond Shell' from the chest. Continue North and go up the stairs. Jump onto the walkway again, but this time, run across and jump down at the end. From there, head East and exit the area.

Start moving South until you reach a fork. Take the East path to find chests containing 'Southern Cross', 'Hanuman's Staff', and 'Ogre Ax'. Return to the fork and head Northwest, burning any branches you encounter. At the end of the path, go up the stairs.

Up here, go South and use the terminal to open the door next to it. Head back and go up the stairs again. Follow the path to a wide area. From here, go South to collect the 'Heavenly Robe' from the chest. Return to the wide area and proceed Northeast, following the path until you reach another fork. Take the North path to get 'Energy Tablets' from a chest. Return to the fork and head East to another fork. Keep going Northeast and collect 'Star Mail' and 'EX Gem Lv4' from the chests at the end of the path. Return to the fork, go South, and exit the area.

You'll arrive in a room with an unstable walkway. Grab the 'Phoenix Cloak' from the chest. Use your Sorcerer's Ring on the vines holding the stone to make it fall. Head back downstairs, through the door you opened earlier, and South at the fork to save your game. Now, proceed North all the way into the room with the slanting stone path.

Go downstairs and begin ascending the stone walkway. Once you reach the other side, collect the 'Star Guard' from the chest, then go upstairs and enter the warp portal.

In the next room, go down the stairs. A scene will trigger, leading to an easy battle against two Angel Swordians. After the fight, watch the scene unfold, and Regal will leave the party. When you regain control, go North to find an 'EX Gem Lv3' in a chest. Then, head all the way South to find a 'Shaman Dress' in another chest. There's also a refresher on the West side. Return to where you started, save your game, and proceed through the warp portal.

From your arrival point, run down all the stairs to trigger another scene. After the scene, regroup when you regain control. Start heading North, and when you reach a corner, go East through two open areas. Look for a hidden chest South of the open area to find 'Star Helm'. Continue East until you reach a save point. Save your game and head South to the Southeast corner of the room. From there, go West and then North when possible. The path ahead is straightforward. Go up the warp portal to trigger another scene. You'll face a few more easy battles, so don't worry!

From your current position, head North to the Northwest corner. Go East through two open areas until you reach a fork. The Southeast path leads to a save point. Follow this path if you need to. Now, take the Southwest path to find 'Star Shield' directly in front of the fork, behind some debris. Follow the path until you reach a warp portal, which you must use.

Follow the path and examine the door. A scene will trigger, and Presea will depart the party. Now it's just Genis and Lloyd, just like at the very beginning. Follow the path Southeast. At the four-way fork, take the Northeast path and save your game. From the save point, head Northeast, then Northwest at the next fork. Follow the path to the end to find an 'EX Gem Lv3' in a chest behind some debris. Return to the save point. Directly Southwest of it, you'll find 'Star Circlet' in a hidden chest behind debris. Now, go all the way Northeast, past the save point, and start making your way East to reach the portal. Before entering, follow the path South to find 'Star Gauntlet' in a lone chest. Now, return to the portal and use it.

Follow the path North. At the fork, go West to find an 'EX Gem Lv2' in a chest. Return to the fork and head East to find another chest containing 'Star Bracelet'. Return to the fork one more time and go North to trigger a scene, where you'll lose Genis. Lloyd is now alone!

From where you start, head Northwest. At the save point, backtrack one open area and start heading East. At the end, you'll find 'Spirit Bottle' behind some debris. Return to the broken portal (from where you started this area) and begin heading Southeast. One open area before the Southeast corner, go Northeast and follow the path to find an 'EX Gem Lv4' in a lone chest. Return to the save point, save your game, and go Southeast to enter the portal.

Approach the blue-ish bridge to trigger a scene. When you regain control, go up the stairs, save your game, and examine the sword stuck in the North wall. A scene will trigger, and at its conclusion, you'll have to battle Pronyma.
