BOSS: KILIA

Defeat Kilia in Symphonia with this boss guide. Learn Kilia's HP (10,000), weakness (Light), and strategy using Raine's Photon and Colette's Angel Feathers.

• Lloyd level 20, Colette level 19, Raine level 19, Kratos level 19, Genis level 19 (recommended levels at Thoda Geyser)

Tips:

• Don't be intimidated by Kilia's 10,000 HP; her attacks are not overly difficult.
• Assign Raine's Photon and Colette's Angel Feathers to C-stick shortcuts for quick access.
• After the battle, you will receive the 'Pass' item, allowing you to proceed to the second Seal.
• Before leaving Palmacosta, purchase a Battle Staff from Tsunami.
• Speak to the person near the exit and tell her part of the way to reach the House of Salvation.
• Exit the House of Salvation and go southeast of where the human ranch was to reach Thoda Dock.
• In Thoda Dock, rest at the Inn on the second floor.
• Speak to the dog with Colette as your Avatar.
• Pay Candy, the woman behind the counter, 200 Gald to trigger a scene that takes you to Thoda Geyser and the second seal.
• At Thoda Geyser, talk to the man with a backpack and green hat to buy supplies.
• Find and talk to the dog in the NW area.
• Approach the pedestal in the NE corner to trigger a scene showing the Spiritua Statue.
• Follow Genis' directions at the pedestal, aiming to fail no more than 2 times.
• Check the pedestal with the blue thing on top to trigger another scene.
• Inside the dungeon, move North and dispose of enemies.
• Go down the stairs and collect the 'Mermaid's Tear'.
• Continue down the stairs and collect 'Life Bottle' and 'Circlet' from chests on the East side.
• Take the Southwest exit, ignoring the Sorcerer's Ring pedestal for now.
• Find a hidden chest behind the upper stone pillar on the East side containing 'EX Gem Lv1'.
• Go through the stone pillars on the East and collect 'White Silver' and 'Orange Gel' from chests.
• Return to the previous room and go to the North part.
• Use the Sorcerer's Ring on the torches next to stone tablets with flames to ignite them.
• Change the function of the Sorcerer's Ring.
• Exit through the Southeast exit.
• Go down the stairs and collect 'Stun Bracelet' and 'Circlet' from chests.
• Defeat the shark-type enemy near the chests to obtain the Memory Gem for this dungeon.
• Continue until you reach the next room.
