Phases:

1. Phase 1: Bowman and Whip Master

   These two are more annoying than dangerous on their own, but they can really wear you down if you let them. Your first priority should be to take them out quickly so you can focus on Magnius.

2. Phase 2: Magnius

   Once Bowman and Whip Master are down, Magnius is much more manageable. He's not incredibly tough on his own, but you'll still need a solid strategy.

Strategy:

• When you first enter the battle, make a beeline for Bowman and Whip Master. They don't hit super hard, but their constant attacks can be incredibly disruptive and make fighting Magnius much harder. Get rid of them first!
• After you've dealt with the annoying duo, turn your attention to Magnius. He's not as complex as some other bosses. A good offensive strategy is to string together a basic 3-hit combo, follow it up with a Level 1 Tech like Sword Rain, and then finish with a Level 2 Tech such as Double Demon Fang. This combo deals solid damage and can keep him staggered.
• Don't forget to guard! Magnius has some powerful attacks, and blocking at the right time is crucial for survival. His 'Flame Lance' attack is particularly nasty, so be ready to defend against it.
• Keep an eye on your party's HP and TP. Use Gels liberally whenever someone is running low. It's better to use a Gel than to risk a character getting knocked out. Don't be stingy with them; you've got plenty of chances to restock later.
