Walkthrough

    Begin the battle against Kvar and the three Energy Stones at the Asgard Human Ranch.

    Focus all attacks on the three Energy Stones first, as they have lower HP (5,500 each) and make the fight easier once defeated.

    While dealing with the Energy Stones, ignore Kvar, but be mindful of your HP. Kvar's only close-range attack is a Lightning Strike.

    Once all three Energy Stones are defeated, concentrate your attacks on Kvar.

    Utilize combos (3-combo + Lv1 Tech + Lv2 Tech) and Unison Attacks against Kvar.

    Kvar has 10,000 HP, 340 TP, 410 ATK, and 65 DEF. He is strong against Lightning but has no other elemental resistances or weaknesses.

Tips
  • The Energy Stones have 100 TP, 350 ATK, and 20 DEF. They are strong against all elements.

  • After the battle, watch the ensuing cutscene (a non-interactive cinematic the game plays automatically). You will automatically arrive in Asgard.
  • Before leaving Asgard, go to the East side of town and enter the SE most house (where two ladies are outside).
  • Inside, enter the East room and speak to Harley to receive the 'Figurine Book' and 'Pellets x6'.
  • Exit Asgard and travel to the House of Salvation.
  • From the House of Salvation, head directly North, ascend the elevation, and enter Lake Umacy.
  • Upon entering Lake Umacy, a scene will trigger.
  • You are told you need to return to Thoda Geyser to form a pact with Undine.
  • Before that, travel to Hima.
  • In Hima, run a few steps into town for a scene.
  • Head towards the Inn for another scene involving Clara, Dorr's wife, being chased by adventurers. She will drop the 'Key to the Tower of Mana'.
  • Speak to the two dogs in Hima if you haven't already.
  • Restock items and rest at the Inn.
  • Prepare to head to the Tower of Mana to retrieve Boltzman's healing arts book.
  • From Hima, travel North to the yellow path, follow it East to a bridge.
  • Cross the bridge and head North. You will see a Long-range Monolith.
  • Approach the monolith and look East towards the mountain range. The Tower of Mana is at the North tip of this range on the East side.
  • Save your game before entering the Tower of Mana.
  • Inside the Tower of Mana, a scene will trigger, followed by another scene. You will have to split your party.
  • Kvar drops: Holy Ring, EX Gem Lv 1
  • Energy Stones drop: None
  • Post-battle items in Asgard: Figurine Book, Pellets x6
