Phases:

1. Iubaris has one main phase where it uses devastating shadow-based magic attacks.

Strategy:

• Don't let the boss's name fool you, this fight isn't too tough if you're prepared. Iubaris hits hard with shadow magic, so make sure your party is ready.
• If Raine is in your party (and she should be!), disable all her techs except for First Aid, Recover, Nurse, Dispel, and Force Field. The other techs eat up way too much TP and she'll just spam them if you don't.
• With Lloyd, just go all out with your best combat techs like Sword Rain: Alpha and Tiger Rage.
• Keep an eye on your HP at all times. Even with Kratos and Raine focusing on healing, it's easy to get caught off guard by Iubaris's powerful spells. Use Orange Gels to restore their TP if they start running low.
• Once you've chipped away all 16,800 HP, Iubaris will finally go down.
• After the fight, there's a scene where Luna asks about Aska. Remiel then appears and teaches Colette the "Holy Song" tech.
• Head back to the entrance of the Tower of Mana by retracing Lloyd's path. Before you leave, take a moment to check out the bookshelves for some valuable lore.
• As you exit, another scene plays, and you'll find a campfire. Once you regain control, leave the Tower of Mana and make your way towards Luin.
