BOSS: YGGDRASILL (3)

Defeat Yggdrasill in Symphonia's Tower of Salvation. Learn its weaknesses, HP (40,000), and strategy to obtain EX Gem Lv4 and Energy Tablets.

After the battle, watch the concluding cutscene (a non-interactive cinematic the game plays automatically) and exit the Tower of Salvation to head to Heimdall.

In Heimdall, talk to your party members scattered throughout the town. Speak with Colette in front of the Inn and choose to spend the night.

Once you regain control, proceed to the west (W) area of Heimdall to trigger a scene with the Elder, who speaks positively about Kratos.

After the scene, speak to the elf shown by the Elder to enter Torent Forest.

Torent Forest Walkthrough:

1. As you enter Torent Forest, move north (N). A scene will occur.
2. Use your Sorcerer's Ring (a tool that interacts with specific environmental elements) on the tree stump where a small creature hid.
3. The creature will run east (E). Before following, go west (W). At the fork, go south (S). At the next fork, go south (S) again to obtain 'Stardust'.
4. Return to where you saw the creature. Follow it east (E). At the fork, the creature runs north (N), but instead, go east (E) and retrieve the 'Crystal Dagger' from the chest to the north (N).
5. Return to the fork and follow the creature north (N) to exit the area.
6. Use the Sorcerer's Ring on the tree stump. The creature will run east (E). Instead, go west (W), then north (N) to find the 'Acalanatha' in a chest.
7. Return to the fork and follow the creature east (E). At the fork, go east (E) again. Get the 'Angel's Tear' from the north (N) chest when you see it.
8. Continue east (E). You will see the creature move east (E) to another area.
9. Continue east (E). At the fork, go north (N). At the second fork, go east (E) (either path works). One of the flower-type enemies here holds the Memory Gem for Torent Forest; defeat both enemies.
10. Move north (N) and east (E) at the next fork. At the subsequent fork, go north (N). At the next fork, go east (E). Use the Sorcerer's Ring on the tree stump to make the creature go west (W).
11. Return to the previous fork and go south (S) to return to another fork. Take the northwest (NW) path, then go north (N) at the next fork to reach another area.
12. Proceed north (N) to find a fork. Go northwest (NW), then south (S) at the next fork to get the 'Mana Protector' from the chest.
13. Return to the previous fork and go north (N) to get the 'EX Gem Lv4' from the chest.
14. Return to the fork near the entrance. Go northeast (NE). At the next fork, go east (E), then north (N) at the next one to get the 'EX Gem Lv3' from the chest.
15. Return to the previous fork and go east (E). Unlock the memory seal. Save your game.
16. Go east (E) to get another 'EX Gem Lv4' from the lone chest.
17. Return to the save point and make your way south (S) to another fork. Take the southeast (SE) path, following the route to find the 'Shield Ring' and 'Warlock Garb' under the waterfall.
18. Return to the previous fork and follow it southwest (SW) this time to reach another tree stump. Use the Sorcerer's Ring on it and follow the creature east (E) to another area.
19. Follow the path east (E) until you reach a fork. Take the north (N) path. At the next fork, keep going north (N). At the next fork, go north (N). At the subsequent fork, go east (E) and use the Sorcerer's Ring on the t.
