World 4-2: Piranha Creeper Creek

Head past the first wave of Piranha Creepers. A Piranha Creeper is a large Piranha Plant connected to a vine that moves back and forth. Jump on its head or hit it with a power-up to make it retract. Force it back to its origin to defeat it, earning coins.

Hit the ?-Block for a power-up (Fire Flower if big).

Defeat the Piranha Creeper blocking the pipe to the next zone.

Inside the cave, dive into the Mystery Box right past the first Piranha Creeper.

Within 10 seconds, bounce off Piranha Creepers to reach and collect Green Star #1.

Exit the Mystery Box and proceed past the next Creeper to find the Checkpoint Flag.

Beyond the Checkpoint Flag, dive underwater to find Green Star #2, avoiding two Piranha Creepers moving through the water.

A little past those Creepers, one more will be coming out of the way. Jump off this Piranha Creeper and “into” the wall to find a secret passage.

The secret passage leads to the level’s Stamp.

Use the pipe at the end of the secret passage to reach the final area.

Upon exiting the pipe, you will spot a Roulette Block. A Super Leaf makes navigating the area easier.

Activate the Green Star Ring on the rotating platforms ahead. It is advisable to defeat the Piranha Creepers first to easily collect the green coins and claim Green Star #3.

Use the pipe at the end to reach the Goal Pole. Bounce off a Piranha Creeper to cap it.
