World 3-1: Snowball Park

Alright, welcome to World 3-1, also known as Snowball Park! This level is all about dealing with these spiky guys called Snow Pokeys. They look pretty dangerous, right? If you touch them, ouch! But here's the trick: you can jump right on their heads to take them out instantly. Or, if you have a power-up, you can use that too. When you defeat them, they leave behind snowballs, which you can then pick up and throw. Pretty neat, huh?

Start by heading to the right. You'll see some Snow Pokeys right away, so be careful and try to take them out. After you cross a small icy patch, keep an eye out behind the first tree you see. There's a Propeller Box hidden there! Grab it if you can.

This Propeller Box is super useful. It fits right on your head. When you jump, just hold down the jump button, and you'll start flying! Keep holding it, and you'll float down slowly. Don't worry, it won't mess with any other power-ups you might already have.

Keep moving right and clear out the Bizzybuds in your path. Once they're gone, you'll find your first Green Star #1. After that, loop back around and continue to the right. You'll encounter another Snow Pokey. Defeat it, and then hit the ?-Block nearby. You might get a Super Leaf, which gives you the Tanooki Suit if you're already big. That's another great way to slow your descent!

The Tanooki Suit is awesome for slowing your fall, just like the Propeller Box. You'll see a Goomba wearing a skate. Dash past it to reach the Checkpoint Flag. If you defeat that Goomba, it'll drop an Ice Skate for you, which is pretty cool.

Just past the checkpoint, you'll find a bigger ice rink with more Goombas. Look for the one that seems a bit slower to react to you – it'll drop an Ice Skate. Now, hit the Red Ring and collect all eight Red Coins. Doing so will get you a Super Leaf. As you go up the ramps after the ice rink, you'll see some snowballs and a Rabbit. This is where you'll find the second Green Star.

Grab one of those snowballs and chase after the Rabbit. You'll have to go past some Biddybuds. Toss the snowball at the Rabbit to stun it, and then you can grab Green Star #2. If you're quick enough, you can also just touch the rabbit to stop it.

In the next icy area, you'll face more Snow Pokeys. But don't worry, you can easily grab the Stamp from a narrow ledge on the left side. Before you go into the green pipe, climb up the tree. If you have the Tanooki Suit or the Propeller Box, you can use your abilities to jump up and reach Green Star #3. With the Tanooki Suit, you might need to wall jump and then float back to the little alcove. Once you've got it, take the green pipe to reach the Goal Pole. Nice job!
