Alright, let's tackle Mount Magmeow! This place can be a bit tricky with all the lava and those pesky Fire Bros, but don't worry, we'll get through it together. Just follow my lead!

Back Off, Cat Prince Bully! Cat Shine

Okay, first things first. Head through the main gate and hop up the ledges. Watch out for those Fire Bros – they're annoying! Keep moving, and you'll see another Fire Bro and some Fire Bars. If you've played the original Super Mario Bros., these Fire Bars should look familiar. Your next move is to hop on a Switchboard. Ride it to the next area, but stay sharp and dodge the Fire Bros and Fire Bars. Seriously, falling into the lava here is an instant KO, so be super careful!

You'll then be walking along a narrow ledge with more Fire Bars. You can either roll under the cliff to dodge the second Fire Bar, or just jump over the gaps if you're feeling brave. There's another Fire Bro waiting for you after those Fire Bars, and then one more Fire Bar. See that green pipe? Don't go in it; it'll just send you back to the start. Instead, jump on the Switchboard nearby. Ride it past the section with the triple Fire Bar, and then hop onto the next Switchboard you see. This one will take you past some more Fire Bars and finally to your last Switchboard, which leads you to an arena.

Atop Mount Magmeow Cat Shine

After the Prince Bully fight, the island changes a bit. You'll see a clear pipe right at the start, but it only skips a few jumps, so don't rely on it too much. As you move past it, notice that the question mark blocks with Fire Bars now have *three* Fire Bars instead of just one – things are getting hotter!

Keep going until you find a red block with an exclamation point. This is the main gimmick for this Shine. Hitting this block turns it blue and, more importantly, changes the tracks for the nearby Switchboards. To proceed, hit the block to turn it blue, then ride the Switchboard to the end. You'll find another colored block there. Hit this one to switch the track back to normal, and ride the Switchboard to the cliffside.

Follow the path until you reach another Switchboard. Keep an eye out for a Fuzzler on the track – you'll need to be quick! Since you can't go the usual way, you'll have to take a longer route to the next colored switch. Make sure you hit that switch *before* the Switchboard drops back down to the lower track. You'll then have to jump over two Fuzzlers before hopping onto the next Switchboard.

At the end of this track, hit the switch. Now, pay attention! A Fuzzler will be chasing you, but as you pass under the mountain, look for a clear pipe or cannon sticking out. You absolutely need to jump into this pipe. If you miss it, don't panic! You can backtrack using the Switchboard because it doesn't fall into the lava. Once you successfully enter the pipe, you'll be zapped all the way to the top of the mountain. Just jump up the last few ledges, and you'll snag the Cat Shine!

Hurry! Steer the Switchboards! Cat Shine

Alright, this one is a race against time! You'll find one of those shiny purple buttons at the start of the island. That means you've got a timed obstacle course ahead of you, and you need to grab the Shine within 20 seconds. You'll be using Switchboards, and yes, those annoying Fuzzlers are back to try and slow you down.

The course is designed so you'll likely finish with only a few seconds to spare, so there's really no room for mistakes. If a Fuzzler hits you, it's okay – just take the hit and keep moving. Once you reach the end of the final Switchboard, you can grab the Cat Shine!

Five Cat Shine Shards Cat Shine

This island is pretty big, and finding all five Cat Shine Shards can be a bit of a scavenger hunt. Let's break it down:

1. Shard #1: Start by jumping into the water and swimming towards the mountain. Look for a slightly hidden Switchboard track. Follow it around to the back, and you should find the actual Switchboard. Hop on and ride it around to find your first Cat Shine Shard.
2. Shard #2: Head back to the main path and make your way past the initial Fire Bars. You'll reach the first Switchboard. As you ride it, look for a thin platform with a Fire Bro on it. The second Cat Shine Shard is on this same platform.
3. Shard #3: Ride the Switchboard from Shard #2 to the next section. As you're crossing the ledges, keep going past the two Fire Bars. Just before the third one, you'll see the third Cat Shine Shard.
