Walkthrough

    Begin with your starting base (Command Center, Barracks, Engineering Bay, Merc Compound, 2 Bunkers, 1 Missile Turret) and units (2 Siege Tanks, 6 Marines, 4 Marauders, 4 Medics, 6 SCVs). Queue up 5 SCVs. Reposition troops and grab mineral and vespene gas pads north of your base and then to the northeast.

    Move out the eastern ramp and then north, preparing for the first drop pods. Move south and clear out Zerg to the southeast of your base.

    Destroy the Spore Cannon to the southeast to make space for a second Command Center.

    The next drop pod will land to your north. Move your troops there to save the new recruits. Build a Bunker and a Psi-Disrupter near your new base. Start producing SCVs immediately and fill the bunker.

    Send the rest of your forces west of your main base in preparation for the third drop.

    At the third drop, you will find 3 Vultures and a Factory. Move the Factory back to your main base quickly. Return your troops to your base. Have the Vultures gather resources and vespene gas near the drop site before returning.

    Shortly after returning to base, call in mercenary units: Jackson's Revenge and the Siege Breakers. Send the Siege Breakers to your second base and set them to siege mode for defense.

    Position your main force just north of your second base, ready for the fourth drop pod, which contains two Siege Tanks and 4 Marines.

    Send these new units with your main force directly north of your main base. Destroy the Spore Cannon found there, then move slightly east to an area with no creep.

    Send a small force southwest of your main base to another spot with no creep. Deploy Jackson's Revenge to this southern location to deal with an Ultralisk using the Yamato Cannon.

    After a short cutscene, you will receive your next objective. Use Jackson's Revenge to head northeast of your main base, almost all the way north of your second base, just west of the first Nydus Worm.

    Use Jackson's Revenge to destroy the Nydus Worms. SCVs will repair you. Once all Nydus Worms are destroyed, you will achieve mission victory.
Tips
  • Lower your gamespeed by 1-2 notches for your first playthrough, as a lot happens quickly.
  • Do not build a Factory or Starport early on, as you will acquire them soon.
  • You do not need to build Supply Depots as you start with the maximum 200 supply.
  • Use the Yamato Cannon on the Ultralisk for a significant advantage.

You control Raynor, Tychus, Swann, and Stetmann, supported by two Marines, a Marauder, and a Medic.

Walkthrough

    Head south along the path. Use Raynor's Penetrator round on the first group of Zerg.

    Continue east near a ramp. Use the Penetrator round again and clean up.
  3. 3
    Head west to a tight group of Zerg. Use Tychus's Shredder Grenades and clean up any remaining Zerglings.

    Go up the next ramp and then south. Use the Shredder Grenade again, and while remaining forces charge, use a Penetrating shot. Move south, cleaning up.

    Head south and then east down a ramp. Use Swann's Flaming Betty. If overwhelmed, use another Shredder Grenade; otherwise, clean up and move on.

    Eastward, take a ramp leading south. Eliminate a small Zerg force. You will receive notifications about trapped Marines you can save. Use Penetrating Shot on Class 5 Zerglings, then Grenade the two clustered Spine Crawlers. Finish the third and proceed to rescue the Marines.

    Return to the main path and take a clockwise loop. At the end of the loop, burrowed Zerglings will appear but pose no threat.

    Head west. Set up Flaming Betty on a ramp to draw out Zerg. Use Grenades on larger groups and Pen Shot on Class 5 Zerglings.

    Head west and then down a northwestern ramp to engage 4 Nydus Worms. Destroy them and move to the beacon.

    After planting the charge, defend the location for 2:30 minutes. Set up Flaming Betty on one chosen location and defend the others. Use Grenades on large groups and Pen Shots on tougher foes.

    Once the timer reaches 00:00, a cutscene will play, and you will automatically advance to the next chamber.

    Head east. Upon reaching infested units, use a Grenade. Kill straglers and use Pen Shot on larger enemies.

    Head south to the next group and eliminate them. Nearby, you'll find a large group. Set up Flaming Betty and use Shredder Grenades if necessary.

    Follow the path south to another large group and use the same tactics to clear it quickly.

    Enter the chamber and clear out any structures.

    Head south, where an Abomination will appear. After heading south and then east, Banelings will emerge. Engage them from a distance.
