Navigate the Tomb of Naga Sadow in Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic. Find the Star Map, defeat enemies, and make critical choices that affect your alignment.
Alright, we're getting close to grabbing that last Star Map! Uthar and Yuthura are going to send you into the Tomb of Naga Sadow for your final test. You'll get slightly different dialogue depending on how you've played them, but the goal is the same: find the Star Map and snag that Sith lightsaber nearby.
First things first, head south. You'll run into some enemies, so take care of them. Then, veer off onto the eastern path. Now, this path is totally optional – the loot you find won't help you solve any puzzles in the tomb, but it can net you a good chunk of money if you're looking to stock up. When you find a door, open it and head inside. Be warned, it'll lock behind you automatically, so you'll need to find another way out. You'll spot a computer terminal in here. Before you interact with it, make sure to SAVE YOUR GAME! This terminal kicks off a mini-game, and if you try to solve the puzzle yourself, you only get two chances. The goal is to move all the systems to the right side. Here’s the sequence:
- Top system from left to middle.
- Mid-upper system from left to right.
- Top system from middle to right.
- Mid-lower system from left to middle.

- Base system from left to right.

Once that's done, the door will open. Head through and grab Naga Sadow's poison blade from the pillar. Then, make your way back to the central chamber.
Next, go west. You'll find a corpse to raid and another door to open. Inside, you'll be facing two Tarentateks. Dark Consulars can handle these tough enemies with Force Storm or Death Field. If you're playing a Light Side character with high Wisdom, Stasis Field can be effective. If your Wisdom isn't top-notch, your best bet is to toss a concussion grenade at one of them before they spot you. Then, activate Master Speed and use Master Flurry on the stunned one until it's down, then turn your attention to the other. If you're struggling, there are more tips in the game's credits section.
After you've dealt with the Tarentateks, head to the southwestern corner of the room and pull the lever. This will unlock the surrounding doors. Open the door right next to the lever and grab the special ice grenade from between the two pillars. Don't bother with the fire grenade; it's pretty useless.
1. [WKORSM] Star Map
Return to the four-way intersection and take the path you haven't explored yet. You'll come across an acid pool. Toss that ice grenade into it to freeze a path across so you can continue. Trust me, don't try throwing a fire grenade in there – I did, and the resulting explosion instantly killed me!
Follow the newly created path to the Star Map. With that in hand, you've now collected all four maps! The only thing left here is to grab the Sith Lightsaber from the statue behind the Star Map. Once you have it, backtrack to the frozen acid pool.
2. [WKORBE] Betrayal
Here's where things get interesting. Head back to the acid pool, and you'll find Uthar and Yuthura waiting for you. Uthar will start talking about your progress and all that jazz. Just tell him you understand. Now, this is where things can go in a ton of different directions, all depending on your past actions with the Double-Cross and related side quests. Essentially, you've got a choice: side with Uthar, side with Yuthura, or go it alone.
Take Uthar's Side
This path will *always* result in Dark Side points. It doesn't matter if you poisoned Yuthura; she's a pushover. However, it *does* matter if you told Uthar about the plot. If you didn't, he'll attack you regardless. If you did tell him, he'll ask you a question, giving you the option to fight or not. If you reveal you're Revan, he'll believe you and pledge his service, assuming you defeat Malak (which, spoiler, you won't). If you poisoned Uthar, he'll attack you no matter what, and you might get more Dark Side points depending on how you gloat.
Take Yuthura's Side
This option has the potential for both Light and Dark Side points. Since Uthar can be a tough fight, having Yuthura as an ally is a big help. However, after you defeat Uthar, Yuthura will turn on you anyway because she wants complete control. Again, it doesn't matter if you poisoned her; she's easy to defeat. She's quite different from Uthar. When you're close to beating her, she'll beg for mercy. You can kill her for Dark Side points, or if you want Light Side points, let her live, tell her your true identity (she'll believe you), and convince her to leave the Sith. She won't join the Jedi, but she will abandon the Sith.
Take Your Side
This means you're telling both of them you're going to kill them. They'll both be furious, and Uthar will demand an explanation. To get Light Side points, tell them you just wanted the Star Map, were working for the Republic, or were working for the Jedi. However, if you poisoned both of them, you have a high chance of getting Dark Side points and a low chance of Light Side points, depending on your gloating. Remember, some dialogue options might seem Light or Dark, but they aren't always what they appear. This isn't the recommended choice since you have to fight both Uthar and Yuthura. If you go this route, focus on Yuthura first and heal yourself frequently. Once she's down, disengage from Uthar, heal up as much as possible, and then engage him using the same strategy you used against the Tarentateks.
After all that, you're finally done with the tomb! You can't use the fast travel system here, so you'll have to walk all the way back to your ship. If you killed Uthar and convinced Yuthura to leave the Sith, you'll find some Sith students waiting outside the entrance. They'll ask about Uthar. The alignment changes are pretty obvious here, and they won't believe you're Revan, so they'll attack. You should be able to handle them easily.
Head back inside the academy. If you killed Uthar and convinced Yuthura to leave...
